Apple CEO meets PM Modi, says committed to investing across India
Ahead of Apple's second store launch in New Delhi, CEO Tim Cook met Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday evening.

Taking to micro-blogging site Twitter, Tim Cook said,''Thank you Prime Minister @narendramodi for the warm welcome. We share your vision of the positive impact technology can make on India's future - from education and developers to manufacturing and the environment, we're committed to growing and investing across the country.'
'In response to a tweet by Apple's CEO Tim Cook, the Prime Minister said;
"An absolute delight to meet you, @tim_cook! Glad to exchange views on diverse topics and highlight the tech-powered transformations taking place in India."
The Apple CEO also met union ministers Ashwini Vaishnaw before meeting the Prime Minister. However, the prime minister's office or the Indian government is yet to confirm the reports of the meeting.
Apple Chief Executive is on the second leg of his India visit, where he went around the crafts museum and the famous Lodhi Art district on Wednesday ahead of opening the company's second official retail store in the country.
