AP presents Rs 1.57 lakh crore budget for 2017-18 in Assembly
Finance Minister Y Ramakrishnudu of Andhra Pradesh on Wednesday presented Rs 1.57 lakh crore for the year 2017-18 in the Assembly.
Amaravati, March 15: Andhra Pradesh on Wednesday presented nearly Rs 1.57 lakh crore budget for 2017-18, an increase of 15.71 per cent in the outlay over the previous year.

Presenting the maiden budget in the new state capital, Finance Minister Y. Ramakrishnudu proposed total expenditure at 1.57 lakh crore, comprising revenue expenditure of Rs 1.26 lakh crore and capital expenditure of Rs 31,087.
The estimated revenue deficit is around Rs 416 crore and the fiscal deficit is estimated at around Rs 23,054 crore. The government has allocated Rs 1,061 crore for the development of the new state capital.
