Andhra Pradesh poll candidate, two others killed in road mishap

Warangal(AP), May 6: Three persons, including an independent candidate who contested the recent state Assembly election, were today killed when their car collided with a lorry at a village here, police said.

A Sashidhar, who contested from Janagaon Assembly segment in Warangal during the polls held on April 30, was returning from Hyderabad with his mother Premalatha and sister Shailaja when their car rammed into the lorry coming from the opposite direction at Chenna Pendyala village, they said.

The trio died on the spot. Ghanapur police has registered a case and is further investigating.
