Dehradun: Husband gets life term for chopping wife into 70 pieces
A local court in Dehradun on Thursday found software engineer Rajesh Gulati guilty of murdering his wife Anupama Gulati.

Gulati had smothered his wife and then used an electric saw to chop her body into 70 pieces, stashing the parts in a deep freezer for two months.
Gulati was found guilty under IPC sections 302 (murder) and 201 (destroying evidence). The quantum of punishment would be announced on Friday.
The couple were married and had two children. They were living in Dehradun since 2009. Constantly subjected to domestic violence, Anupama was killed on October 17, 2010. Her body was chopped and later stored them in freezer.
The victim's brother Sujan, who did not hear from Anupama for two months, filed a missing person complaint with the Dehradun Police after which the police found the body in a freezer and arrested Rajesh on December 12, 2010.
