Anupam Kher on Twitter: Don’t take panga with our soldiers
As reactions and comments poured in from people starting with cricketers Gautam Gambhir and Virendra Sehwag, now actor Anupam Kher had something to say on the issue.
New Delhi, April 14: Veteran actor Anupam Kher has voiced out his anger in a message posted on social media over the attack on CRPF personnel by stone pelters after he was returning from a polling booth in Srinagar. The 62-year-old actor had said that the security personnel could have thrashed the youths who had attacked him which could have been worse. He said that he was angry about the incident and demanded strict against those youths involved in the incident.

The actor said that it was even more shameful that people were trying to cover up the crimes of the youth under the shroud of the human rights. He added that majority of them do not think the same way about our soldiers but when one sees how the security personnel are treated, it is important to react because it makes him livid.
He also said that he felt angry not just because he is an Indian but on humanitarian grounds as well and added that it was time to expose all those 'pseudo-intellectuals' talking about the incidents in Kashmir, but they should realise that it is also the reality.
Anupam said that one can imagine very well that if such things happen with security personnel, than what might have happened with the Kashmiri Pandits 27 years ago.
He added that it was time to get together and expose not only the 'terrorists-loving people' but also those who do not comment when something like this happens. He concluded the video with a 'Jai Hind'.
Earlier, Indian cricketer Gautam Gambhir had condemned the attack on security personnel followed by the former opener batsman Virendra Sehwag.
Meanwhile, Jammu and Kashmir Deputy Chief Minister Nirmal Singh had said that stern action will be taken against the perpetrators.
