Anshika Verma's Self-Study Journey To Becoming An IPS Officer

Despite this, she did not take any coaching for her UPSC preparation. She studied books day and night in a disciplined manner.

She completed her BTech in Electronics and Communication from Galgotias College of Engineering and Technology in 2018. After that, she decided to take the UPSC exam. She gave the exam in 2019 but did not succeed. However, she did not lose hope.

In her second attempt, she cleared the UPSC exam with a rank of 136th in 2020. This achievement made her an IPS officer. Anshika believes that rote learning does not help. She says that understanding the subject is crucial for success.

Anshika advises making a plan for the UPSC exam due to its vast syllabus. Born on January 3, 1996, she suggests choosing study material wisely and revising it often. She recommends NCERT books for their accurate information.

Ignoring what others say, Anshika focuses on the goal and advises others to do the same. She believes in not getting scared or disappointed by failure. According to her, there is victory ahead if you do not fear failure.
