Another Swachh Bharat shame: Allahabad ADM caught urinating in holy Sangam

Allahabad, Feb 23: A senior Uttar Pradesh government official was caught urinating in the holi Sangam, the confluence of holy Ganga-Yamuna-Saraswati rivers.

Allahabad ADM (Nazul) OP Shrivastava was caught relieving himself at the Triveni Sangam. The shameful act took place while the senior official was discussing the arrangements for the upcoming Triveni Mahotsav.

A probe was ordered in this matter after outrage and the photo went viral over social media.

Earlier, in a similar incident from Allahabad, a top bureaucrat Vijay Bahadur Pathak was caught peeing in the holy river Ganga, shortly after addressing an event over need of toilets in Uttar Pradesh.

His video of urinating in public went viral on news channels and on social media. His act of shame comes as a huge blow to Swachh Bharat campaign.
