Another murderous attack on Ravinder Raina by PDP

Nowshera, Dec 20: Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) candidate from Nowshera constituency Ravinder Raina today got injured badly in another murderous attack, allegedly planned within a span of 10 days by Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) workers and leaders.

As per reports, Ravinder Raina was interacting with local people in Lamberi when he was on the way to Nowshera where stone pelting by PDP activists started over Raina and his supporters. Eyewitness informed that Raina got injured badly in the incident and he was shifted to Sub District Hospital Nowshera from where he was later referred to Government Medical College (GMC) & Hospital Jammu. It is pertinent to mention here that it was the second incident of murderous attack by PDP in the last 10 days over Raina.

Earlier Ravinder Raina was attacked in Laam area of the constituency, which is going for polls tomorrow in fifth phase of Assembly elections, a case was also registered in this regard at Nowshera police station, sources said. Anguish over the incident, the people assembled in the town and raised slogans against PDP for spreading goondaism and casteism in the constituency.
