Anna Hazare Says Painful To See Arvind Kejriwal In Jail, Had Said No To Liquor Policy
A day after Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party supremo Arvind Kejriwal's arrest in connection with now scrapped Delhi Excise Policy case, social activist and political mentor to CM, Anna Hazare expressed his displeasure over the arrest. Anna Hazare said it is painful to see Arvind Kejriwal behind bars, adding that he had warned him against "making liquor policies". Anna further added that the arrest of the Delhi Chief Minister "is because of his own deeds".
"I am very upset that Arvind Kejriwal, who used to work with me, raised his voice against liquor, is now making liquor policies. His arrest is because of his own deeds. But what will he do? Nothing works in front of power. The arrest has been made, now whatever will happen as per law will happen." Anna Hazare told the media.

For the unversed, Arvind Kejriwal was a part of Anna Hazare's India Anit-corruption Movement in 2011 and later, he decided to float his won political front as a third and better option against Congress and BJP, claiming to be an honest party that intends to serve citizens.
