Investigation Finds Allegations Against Amroha School Principal Baseless
A recent investigation into a viral video alleging misconduct by a school principal has dismissed claims of him holding a nursery student hostage, expelling him, and making derogatory remarks about his food and religious beliefs. Officials confirmed these findings on Monday.

The district administration's probe found that the video, featuring an argument between the student's mother and the private school principal, had been edited. Some claims, such as the use of the term "terrorist," were unsubstantiated. The controversy began last week when the video suggested the principal mistreated the student and his family over non-vegetarian food in his tiffin box.
Investigation Findings
District Magistrate Rajesh Tyagi responded to the incident by forming an investigation team led by District Inspector of Schools (DIOS) V.P. Singh. The team reviewed CCTV footage and school records. Singh stated, "The investigation team found the claims against the principal baseless."
The probe revealed that allegations of the principal holding the student hostage, removing him from the school, and making derogatory remarks were not substantiated. However, it was noted that the principal had spoken harshly to the student's mother during their argument.
Context of the Argument
The investigation clarified that the harsh words exchanged were due to the heated nature of the argument rather than any misconduct by the principal. Additionally, it was found that the term "terrorist" was used by the student's mother during their confrontation, not by the principal.
The report also highlighted that the school management had previously waived fees for one of the student's siblings for this academic session. However, fees amounting to Rs 24,000 for other children remain unpaid.
Edited Video Sparks Outrage
The viral video initially caused outrage among certain communities and politicians. The investigation confirmed that this video had been edited, which contributed to misunderstandings about the incident.
In conclusion, while some harsh words were exchanged during a heated argument, there was no evidence of misconduct by the principal. The investigation has clarified many of the misunderstandings surrounding this incident.
