Amritsar Schools Receive Bomb Threat Emails; Students Evacuated, Police Confirm Hoax

Multiple schools in Amritsar were evacuated on Friday after receiving bomb threat emails, prompting the district administration to order the closure of all educational institutions across the city. As the alerts spread, anxious parents rushed to campuses to pick up their children while police teams launched an immediate investigation.

According to officials, several schools in both urban and rural parts of Amritsar received suspicious emails warning of explosives on their premises. The information was immediately forwarded to local police, the fire department, and emergency responders.

Multiple fire tenders, bomb disposal units, dog squads, and police teams were dispatched to the site. As a precaution, students, teachers, and staff members were evacuated while authorities cordoned off the premises.
