Amitabh Bachchan injured on the sets of Prabhas, Deepika's film
The shooting of 'Project K' in Hyderabad has been halted following injury to Amitabh Bachchan.
Bollywood's Megastar Amitabh Bachchan has been injured on the sets of his upcoming movie which is presently referred to as ' Project K'.
The actor himself spoke about the injury in his blog where he claimed that he got his rib cartilage during the shoot. The CT scanning was done at a private hospital in Hyderabad.

"In Hyderabad at the shoot for Project K, during an action shot, I have got injured .. rib cartilage popped broke and muscle tear to the right rib cage .. canceled shoot .. did Doctor consult and scan by CT at the AIG Hospital in Hyderabad and flown back home .. strapping has been done and rest been advocated .. yes painful .. on movement and breathing .. will take some weeks they say before some normalisation will occur .. some medication is on also for pain .., [sic]" he said.
However, there is nothing to worry and the actor will return to the shoot once he fully recovers from the injury.
"So all work that was to be done has been suspended and canceled dropped postponed for the moment until healing occurs .. I rest at Jalsa and am mobile a bit for all the essential activities .. but yes in rest and generally lying around .. It shall be difficult or let me say .. I shall be unable to meet, the well wishers at Jalsa Gate this evening .. so do not come .. and do inform as much as you can to those that intend coming ..All else is well .., [sic]" he added.
Bachchan who made his acting debut in 1969 with 'Saat Hindustani', continues to be one of the busiest actors in the country even at the age of 80.
'Project K' is a science fiction film written and directed by Nag Ashwin. Produced by Vyjayanthi Movies, the film is simultaneously shot in Telugu and Hindi languages. It stars Amitabh Bachchan, Prabhas, Deepika Padukone and Disha Patani.
The movie is scheduled to be released in January 2024.
