During his visit to Rajasthan, Union Home Minister Amit Shah addressed party workers and highlighted the Modi governments accomplishments. He criticized the Congress and emphasized the governments success in eliminating corruption, appeasement, and casteism, establishing a politics of performance.
Jaipur, February 20: Union Home Minister Amit Shah launched a scathing attack on the Congress party during his visit to Rajasthan on Tuesday, calling it a dynastic and directionless party incapable of developing the country or working for the welfare of the poor. Shah's remarks came as he addressed party workers in Bikaner and Udaipur, emphasizing the achievements of the Modi government and highlighting the contrast with the Congress's alleged shortcomings.

Eradicating Social Evils and Establishing Performance-Based Politics
Shah asserted that the Modi government has successfully eliminated four major social evils that plagued the country's democracy: parivarvad (dynastic politics), corruption, appeasement, and casteism. He credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership for bringing an end to these issues within a decade and establishing a politics of performance.
Dynastic Politics and the BJP's Vision for India
Shah criticized the Congress for its dynastic nature, accusing the party of prioritizing the interests of their own family members over the welfare of the country. He contrasted this with the BJP's goal, under Modi's leadership, to make India a world leader. Shah highlighted the differing objectives of various political leaders, emphasizing that those focused on promoting their own family members cannot truly serve the nation or uplift the poor.
Modi's Dedication and Commitment
Shah drew a comparison between Prime Minister Modi's dedication to his work and the alleged vacation habits of certain leaders. He praised Modi for not taking a single leave in the past 23 years, highlighting his unwavering commitment to serving the nation.
Addressing Terrorism and Extremism
Shah highlighted the significant improvements in the country's security situation under the Modi government. He credited the zero-tolerance approach towards terrorism and extremism for the decline in violent incidents and civilian deaths. Shah emphasized the government's efforts in establishing peace in previously troubled regions such as Kashmir, the left-wing extremism affected areas, and the Northeast.
Congress's Failures and the NDA's Strength
Addressing BJP workers in Udaipur, Shah reiterated his criticism of the Congress, calling it a dynastic and directionless party incapable of developing India or providing welfare to the poor. He contrasted this with the Modi government's achievements in various public welfare initiatives over the past ten years.
Shah also took a dig at the opposition's lack of principles and leadership, expressing confidence that the NDA will secure over 400 seats in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
Economic Progress and Achievements
Shah highlighted the economic progress made under the Modi government, noting that India's economy rose from the 11th position to the 5th position globally in just ten years. He expressed optimism that with another five years, India could reach the third position.
Shah also highlighted the Modi government's accomplishments during the Congress's tenure in Rajasthan, emphasizing improvements in poverty alleviation, housing for the poor, national security, and the abrogation of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir.
Improved Security and a Double-Engine Government
Shah criticized the previous Congress government in Rajasthan for its failure to ensure the safety of women and Dalits and the frequent occurrence of riots. He expressed confidence that the current double-engine government, with both the state and central governments led by the BJP, will create a safe environment for women and Dalits and eliminate riots.
In conclusion, Amit Shah's visit to Rajasthan provided an opportunity for him to both criticize the Congress party and highlight the achievements of the Modi government. His remarks focused on issues such as dynastic politics, economic progress, security improvements, and the BJP's commitment to serving the nation.
