BJP president in dock! Faces flak after photo-op with controversial DP Yadav

Chandigarh, Oct 1: BJP's president Amit Shah is in dock after he was seen sharing stage with controversial politician DP Yadav at a rally in Ambala recently .

According to a NDTV report, this photo-op with Yadav who left party 10 years ago has not gone down well among party leaders. Some of them have objected on this bonhomie between Shah and Yadav.

It is being said that DP Yadav was invited by Aseem Goyal , BJP's Ambala candidate who has special equation with former. But this growing closeness between Shah and Yadav has raised speculation that former parliamentarian might return to party fold.

Yadav having several criminal cases pending against him, is father of Vikas Yadav, convicted in infamous 2002 Nitish Katara murder case. The BJP in 2004 had threw him out within days after taking in the party fold.

He has been in SP and BSP in past.In 2007, he formed the party Rashtriya Parivartan Dal, and two members were elected to the state legislature - himself from Sahaswan, and his wife Umlesh Yadav from Bisauli.
