Amethi: Case registered against Arvind Kejriwal for provocative speech

New Delhi, May 5: A case has been registered against Aam Aadmi Party leader Arvind Kejriwal for making provocative comments during his rally in Amethi on Friday.

Kejriwal, who was in Amethi campaigning for AAP candidate Kumar Vishwas, said that voting for BJP or Congress will be a betrayal of God and the country.

Following this his comments sparked off a controversy and a case has been registered against him under the People's Representative Act in Amethi.

During his rally, he even threw an open challenge to Congress candidate from Amethi Rahul Gandhi saying 'on behalf of Kumar Vishwas I invite Rahulji for a public debate.'

Amethi goes to polls on May 7. Amethi is all sett o witness a triangular fight between BJP's Smriti Irani, Congress's Rahul Gandhi and AAP's Kumar Vishwas.
