Allahabad: 5 found dead, bodies recovered from fridge, suitcase

Allahabad, Aug 21: In yet another shocking incient, a five members of a family were on Monday night found dead inside their residence in Allahabad in Uttar Pradesh. The Allahabad Police recovered bodies of a man, his wife and three daughters from a locked house on Monday late night.

The police said that the body of the man was found hanging, his wife's body was found inside the fridge, while the bodies of two daughters were found in suitcase & almirah and one daughter was found in the room.

Speaking on the incident, Allahabad Senior Superintendent of Police Nitin Tiwari said that it appeared to be a case of murder followed by suicide.

He said,''Prima facie, it seems that the man killed his wife and daughters, and later committed suicide. Investigation underway.''

The police have launched an investigation into the incident that occurred in Dhumanganj area of Allahabad.

In a similar incident, on July 1, 11 members of a family were found dead under mysterious circumstances at Burari in the national capital. The incident left the entire nation shocked.
