Yesterday, there was news that a directive was given to BJP leaders to stay away from the wedding.

Some in the BJP felt that it would convey a wrong signal as the party at the centre was trying to rid the country of the black money menace.

However there has been no official announcement in this regard with some in the party saying that they do not interfere in private functions.
