All AAP Scandals Will Come to Light: Delhi CM Rekha Gupta on CAG Report Discussion
The Rekha Gupta-led Delhi government is set to present a crucial report on the city's health infrastructure and management in the state assembly today. Chief Minister Rekha Gupta announced that the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) report on Delhi's health sector will be discussed, promising to reveal alleged scams from the previous Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government.
"Today, we will discuss the CAG report on health in the assembly, and all of AAP's scams will be exposed. The people of Delhi have already seen their true face. They claimed to stand for honesty but crossed every limit of dishonesty," Gupta said, as quoted by ANI.

She further revealed that twelve more CAG reports are yet to be tabled, hinting at more financial irregularities likely to emerge.
Key Points from the CAG Report
According to the official agenda, MLAs will discuss the report titled Public Health Infrastructure and Management of Health Services Relating to Government of NCT of Delhi. Lawmakers will also be allowed to raise related issues under Rule-280 with the Speaker's permission.
Meanwhile, Delhi Minister Ashish Sood criticized the AAP government's handling of the city's healthcare and power sectors. "Every page of the CAG report reveals more scams. When people of Delhi desperately needed oxygen and healthcare during COVID, the Delhi government was busy building their 'Sheesh Mahal.' The High Court and CAG have raised serious concerns about their so-called 'Mohalla Clinics' and their flawed health model. Today, all MLAs will discuss these findings in detail," Sood said.
The report also pointed out that the Delhi government failed to spend ₹245 crore out of nearly ₹788 crore provided by the Centre for emergency COVID-19 response. It also delayed the release of funds for vaccinations, further raising concerns about its handling of the crisis.
Political Tensions Over the CAG Report
The tabling of the CAG report has led to a heated political face-off between the BJP and AAP.
On February 25, tensions flared in the Delhi Assembly when Speaker Vijender Gupta suspended several AAP MLAs, including Leader of Opposition Atishi and Gopal Rai, amid uproar before the CAG report could be presented.
Atishi called the suspension an attack on democracy and wrote a letter to the Speaker urging him to "protect democratic values."
The AAP MLAs, who were suspended for three days, are now set to return to the Assembly today, marking their first appearance since the controversy erupted.
