According to Bloomberg, bullion was trading around $3,316 an ounce, after falling 0.8% on Tuesday. Trump signed two executive orders to prevent overlapping duties on foreign-made auto parts, easing cost pressures on U.S. car manufacturers.
Last week, global uncertainty surrounding the U.S.-led trade war pushed gold briefly above a record $3,500 an ounce.
In Singapore, spot gold dipped marginally by 0.1%, settling at $3,315.87 an ounce.
