These promotions are not limited to in-store purchases but extend to online buying as well, catering to a wide range of preferences. This period is marked by significant discounts on making charges and the added benefit of rate protection schemes, ensuring customers can secure their investments against potential price increases.

Akshaya Tritiya Offers Across Major Jewellery Brands

1. Tanishq has announced a discount campaign from April 19 to 30, offering up to 20 per cent off on making charges for various gold and diamond jewellery pieces. The discount tiers are structured based on the jewellery price bands, starting from 5 per cent off for items priced between 0 and Rs 50,000, scaling up to a 20 per cent discount for purchases over Rs 8 lakh. This initiative is part of Tanishq's strategy to attract customers looking to make significant investments in jewellery during this auspicious period.

2. Reliance Jewels is also participating in the Akshaya Tritiya festivities with a press release dated April 24, detailing their offers. Customers can avail themselves of up to 25 per cent off on gold jewellery making charges and up to 30 per cent off on diamond jewellery. Additionally, Reliance Jewels is promoting a 100 per cent exchange value on old gold, enhancing the appeal of upgrading or exchanging existing jewellery pieces.

3. Malabar Gold and Diamonds, in a press release from April 15, has unveiled their Akshaya Tritiya offers, which include up to 25 per cent off on the making charges of gold jewellery and a flat 25 per cent discount on precious stones and uncut diamond jewellery. They are also offering up to 25 per cent off on diamond value. To further sweeten the deal, Malabar Gold and Diamonds is giving away a free silver coin with advance bookings and allowing customers to lock in their purchase at a minimum of 10 per cent of the total value, offering protection against price hikes.

4. Kalyan Jewellers is not to be left behind, offering up to 50 per cent off on making charges for their gold jewellery collections. They are introducing an advanced booking system that enables customers to lock in current gold rates by paying a quarter of the total purchase amount, thus safeguarding against future rate increases. The brand also promotes an old gold exchange offer, allowing customers to trade in old gold jewellery for new pieces at full value after purity checks.

5. CaratLane's Akshaya Tritiya promotion includes a gift of a free gold or silver coin with eligible purchases. According to a press release from April 21, the offer details include a free 10-gram silver coin for purchases between Rs 15,000 and Rs 30,000, and a free 0.5-gram 22 karat gold coin for those between Rs 30,000 and Rs 60,000. For every additional Rs 30,000 spent, customers receive another 0.5-gram gold coin.
