Akhlaq poses as Aditya Sharma to trap Hindu girl, rapes and forces her to convert
According to the police, the accused had posed as a Hindu to trap a Hindu girl. He along with his father have been remanded in judicial custody
The Delhi police on Friday said that a 30-yer old banker and his father have been arrested for raping and pressurising a Hindu girl to convert to Islam for marriage.
The victim is an MBBS student at a medical college in Noida and hails from West Bengal.

The accused and his father identified as Mohammed Akhlaq and Mohamend Main are residents of Sangam Vihar in Delhi. Both are accused of raping the 23-year old.
The victim in her complaint said that she met Akhlaq on the social media. He had not revealed his real identity on the social media profile. He then befriended her and then entered into a physical relationship with her.
Dinesh Kumar Singh, additional deputy commissioner of police (Greater Noida) said that the victim was sexually abused, assaulted, threatened and forced her to convert to Islam.
An FIR has been registered on the basis of the complaint by the victim, Kumar also said. The father-son duo have been arrested.
Dankaur Police Station in-charge Sanjay Kumar Singh told news agency PTI that the accused Akhlaq had met the victim during her coaching days on a social media site. He posted as a Hindu named Aditya Sharma. The two came face-to-face for the first time in 2021 and it was at this time that the victim got to know that his real identity. The accused told the victim that he had hidden his identity as he feared, she would stop talking to him.
Moreover the accused person was already married and has two children.
The victim decided to approach the police only after she came to know about his marriage and children.
The police said that the father, Moon had advised his son to ask the Hindu girl to convert to Islam so that Akhlaq could marry her.
The accused persons following the complaint were summoned to the police station for questioning. Following this they were arrested and later sent to judicial custody.
