A sudden buzz has emerged on social media platform X (formerly Twitter) around the name Akash Vatsa after the tragic crash of Air India flight AI-171. The flight, which was en route from Ahmedabad to London Gatwick, crashed just minutes after takeoff. There were 242 passengers onboard. While official confirmation on the exact number of casualties is still awaited, several media reports claim that around 120 people have died in the incident.

In the midst of this, a man named Akash Vatsa has gained attention online. He posted on his X handle claiming:
"I was on the same flight that was to travel from Ahmedabad to London - about two hours before takeoff. I flew from Delhi to Ahmedabad on this same aircraft. I noticed some unusual things during the flight and even recorded a video to tweet to Air India. I would like to share more information. Please contact me."

Speaking to OneIndia Hindi, Akash Vatsa confirmed that he had observed strange issues onboard. He said the condition of the aircraft was poor and even recorded a video highlighting the problems inside the Air India flight. According to his claim, the air conditioning system was not working properly, the in-flight entertainment system, including the TV screens and remotes, were also malfunctioning - raising concerns about the aircraft's condition before the fatal incident.

In another post, he wrote:
"I was on that same flight and I'm not flying back to Delhi with Air India tonight. I'm an aviation enthusiast, so I notice things - why can't you? Contact me or meet me at Ahmedabad Airport tonight."

He also claimed that the flight number had been changed, and passengers heading to London on connecting flights had to disembark, return to the departure gate, and then board again via transit.
He said, "The flight number changed, which is why passengers headed to London had to get off and re-board through transit."
