Akasa Air Flight Diverted to Ahmedabad After Security Alert
An Akasa Air flight from Delhi to Mumbai was diverted to Ahmedabad following a security alert. The flight, QP 1719, carried 186 passengers, including an infant and six crew members. The passengers were deplaned without incident.

"Akasa Air flight QP 1719, flying from Delhi to Mumbai on June 3, 2024, and carrying 186 passengers, 1 infant, and six crew members on board, received a security alert. As per prescribed safety and security procedures, the plane was diverted to Ahmedabad," an Akasa Air spokesperson told ANI.
The aircraft landed safely at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport in Ahmedabad at 10:13 hrs. Emergency procedures were followed by the Captain.
Following the emergency landing, all passengers were deplaned. "Akasa Air is following all security protocols on the ground and supporting all safety procedures," the spokesperson stated.

On June 1, an IndiGo flight from Varanasi to Delhi received a bomb threat. The IndiGo flight 6E 2232 safely landed at Delhi airport, and the passengers were deplaned without incident.
"The IndiGo flight 6E 2232, operating from Varanasi to Delhi, had received a bomb threat," the airline said in a statement.
