Ajay Mittal appointed IIMC Chairman

New Delhi, May 31: Ajay Mittal has been appointed president of the Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC) Society and chairman of its executive council.

Mittal was secretary in the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.

"The order will take immediate effect and will be effective till April 12, 2018, i.e. the date of expiry of the (term of) current IIMC society and its executive council or until further orders, whichever is earlier," said an IIMC statement.
