AISSEE 2025 Registration Ends Today: Check Eligibility, Fees, And Exam Details Inside

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will close the registration and application process for the All India Sainik School Entrance Examination (AISSEE) 2025 today, January 13. Interested candidates can apply online at exams.nta.ac.in/AISSEE.

The fee payment window will remain open until tomorrow, January 14. The application fee is Rs 800 for candidates belonging to the General, OBC-NCL, Defence, and Ex-Servicemen categories. For SC and ST candidates, the fee is Rs 650.

Exam Format And Schedule

AISSEE 2025 will be conducted offline using OMR sheets across 190 cities in India. Details of the exam centres are provided in the information bulletin. NTA will announce the exact exam date and the admit card release date in due course.

The Class 6 exam will take place from 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm, while the Class 9 exam will be held from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm.

Eligibility Criteria

For Class 6 admission, applicants must be between 10 and 12 years old as of March 31, meaning their date of birth should fall between April 1, 2013 and March 31, 2015. Female candidates are eligible for Class 6 admission in all Sainik schools, with seat availability mentioned in the bulletin.

For Class 9 admission, candidates must be between 13 and 15 years old as of March 31, 2025, with birth dates between April 1, 2010 and March 31, 2012. Applicants should have passed Class 8 from a recognised school. Female candidates' admission to Class 9 is subject to seat availability.

Exam Pattern

The Class 6 test paper will have 125 questions worth 300 marks. Topics include Language, Mathematics, Intelligence, and General Knowledge. The Mathematics section will carry 150 marks, while the remaining sections will account for 50 marks each.

The Class 9 test paper will feature 150 questions for 400 marks. It will cover Mathematics, Intelligence, English, General Science, and Social Science. Mathematics carries 200 marks, with other sections contributing 50 marks each.
