Aircraft Carrying Sonia, Rahul Gandhi Makes Emergency Landing in Bhopal
The aircraft carrying six passengers, including Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi made an emergency landing in Madhya Pradesh's Bhopal due to bad weather, according to Bhopal police.

The Gandhis were returning to Delhi from Bengaluru after attending a two-day brainstorming session of the opposition parties. The private chartered plane, which was en route to Delhi, had to make a priority landing at the Bhopal airport due to heavy rain and strong winds.
The Gandhis were unharmed during the emergency landing. An airport official said the aircraft made an unscheduled landing at the airport at 8.05 pm due to bad weather.

They were met by senior Congress leaders at the Bhopal airport. Vivek Tripathi, spokesperson, MP Youth Congress, said that all six passengers, including the pilot, reached the VIP lounge at 8:15 pm. He added that the Gandhis will return to Delhi in an Indigo flight at 9:30 pm.

The emergency landing caused some disruption to air traffic in Bhopal, but the airport was able to resume normal operations shortly after the Gandhis' plane landed.
