Air India Delhi-San Francisco Flight Diverted To Russia After 'Technical Issue'
An Air India flight, AI173, en route from Delhi to San Francisco encountered a technical problem with one of its engines, prompting a diversion to Magadan airport in Russia.
The aircraft, carrying 216 passengers and 16 crew members, landed safely at its new destination.

The airline has assured that all necessary assistance is being provided to the passengers on the ground, and alternate travel arrangements will be arranged promptly to ensure they reach their destinations as soon as possible.
Currently, the aircraft is undergoing mandatory checks while stationed on the ground, as confirmed by an Air India spokesperson.
"The passengers are being provided support on the ground and will be provided alternate an option to reach their destination at the earliest. The aircraft is undergoing mandatory checks on the ground. We sincerely regret the inconvenience caused to the passengers," Air India said.
