Air India: Delhi-Kolkata flight grounded after bird hit
The authorities said that all passengers were safe, while the aircraft’s engine had been damaged.
Kolkata, April 24: An Air India flight from Delhi, carrying 254 people, on Monday suffered a bird hit while landing at the airport in Kolkata.

There were 254 people on board, including the crew, and all were safe, the spokesperson said.
The aircraft involved in the incident was Boeing 787-8.
