Air India Announces Rs 25 Lakh Interim Compensation To Families Of Ahmedabad Plane Crash Victims
Air India, CEO and Managing Director, Campbell Wilson has announced that the airline will offer an interim compensation of Rs 25 lakh to each family affected by the recent crash. This includes both the families of those who lost their lives and the survivors. The announcement part of Air India's ongoing efforts to support those impacted by this tragic event.
Air India has expressed its deepest condolences to the families affected by the crash. The airline's ground teams are actively working to provide care and support during this challenging time. In addition to the interim compensation, Tata Sons has already pledged Rs 1 crore in financial assistance for each bereaved family.

Support from Indian Medical Association
The Indian Medical Association (IMA) has reached out to Tata Sons, urging them to extend financial aid to the families of BJ Medical College students who were victims of the crash. In a letter addressed to N. Chandrasekaran, Chairman of Tata Sons, the IMA conveyed its profound sorrow over the tragedy's impact on the medical community.
The IMA highlighted that "the pain endured by the families of the injured and deceased is beyond words." They requested that Tata Sons provide Rs 1 crore per deceased individual to support these families. Such a gesture would demonstrate genuine solidarity with the medical fraternity during this period of mourning.
