AIADMK to win 22 seats, DMK 14: NDTV opinion poll

might win 22 seats, 13 more than the previous election in 2009, says the latest opinion poll conducted by a private TV channel.

The survey conducted by NDTV shows that Jayalalithaa will win most of the seats in Tamil Nadu, which has 39 seats in all.

The biggest loser in the state will be Congress, predicts the survey.

AIADMK's arch rival DMK, led by Karunanidhi, is expected to win 14 seats, five less than what it won in the last general election in alliance with the Congress.

The BJP has formed a six-party alliance in the state and it is expected to win three seats. Its allies might win more seats, strengthening the party in the state.

Contrary to what was expected, Jayalalithaa on Monday targeted both the Congress and Narendra Modi in her rally, thus dismissing off the rumours that AIADMK will join the BJP alliance post-polls.
