AIADMK to hold Iftar party on July 2; Jayalalithaa to attend

Chennai, July 1:The ruling AIADMK on Friday,July 2 announced that it would host the 'Iftar' party here tomorrow and that party supremo and Chief Minister Jayalalithaa would preside over it.

The event wo uld be held at the Chennai Trade Centre, a party statement said. Last year, Jayalalithaa had skipped the event due to illness.

She had said she was uable to attend the Iftar party due to sudden illness, though it was her wish to participate in the event (organised by AIADMK) as usual.
