AI-Powered ‘Kumbh SahaAIyak’ To Simplify Pilgrimage Experience For Maha Kumbh Visitors
In a move aimed at revolutionizing the Maha Kumbh experience for millions of devotees, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday unveiled the 'Kumbh SahaAIyak' chatbot. This AI-powered assistant is designed to simplify and enhance the spiritual journey of an estimated 45 crore visitors from India and around the globe, expected to attend the Maha Kumbh Mela 2025.
A Digital Leap for the Maha Kumbh
Under the guidance of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, officials were tasked with prioritizing digital transformation for the grand event. The 'Kumbh SahaAIyak' chatbot is at the forefront of this initiative, offering devotees instant access to vital information in 11 languages, including Hindi, English, Tamil, Telugu, and Bengali.

Whether it's navigating the sprawling venue, finding parking, securing accommodations, or learning about the event's history, devotees can access assistance in seconds. The chatbot can be downloaded on mobile devices, enabling users to interact via voice or text in their preferred language.
Unique Features of the Chatbot
Personalized Mementos: Devotees can upload their photos to receive customized images set against the Maha Kumbh backdrop, creating a unique keepsake to cherish.
Comprehensive Information: The chatbot provides insights into the historical, cultural, and religious significance of the Maha Kumbh. Users can also access schedules for key events, including Shahi Snans (royal baths) and learn about spiritual gurus attending the festival.
Maha Kumbh: A Celebration of Faith
The Maha Kumbh Mela, celebrated every 12 years, is one of the largest religious gatherings in the world. Rooted in Hindu mythology, the festival rotates among the four sacred cities of Haridwar, Prayagraj, Ujjain, and Nashik. It is a convergence of devotion, tradition, and culture, attracting millions seeking spiritual upliftment.
The 2025 Maha Kumbh will commence with the first Shahi Snan on January 13, the auspicious day of Paush Purnima.
