Jaishankar Expresses Gratitude to World Leaders for Condolences Following Ahmedabad Plane Crash
External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar expressed gratitude to international leaders and governments for their condolences following the Air India crash in Ahmedabad. The tragic incident occurred when a plane with 242 passengers and crew crashed shortly after departing from Ahmedabad airport on Thursday afternoon. Jaishankar, who was in Europe at the time, shared his appreciation through a post on X.

The Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner was en route to London when it crashed into a medical college complex, igniting into flames within a minute of takeoff. This disaster is noted as the country's most severe air accident in recent times. Air India confirmed that 241 individuals on board perished, while one person survived the crash.
