Ahead of November 8, Mamata Banerjee takes a dig at the Union Government's economic policies
As the opposition parties ready themselves to observe November 8, the first anniversary of demonetisation, as 'Black Day," Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has already started initiated her economic crusade against the Modi Government.
A coordination committee comprising of representatives of opposition parties had earlier been constituted to chalk out a protest path.

The opposition parties have decided to lead protests across the country to highlight the "ill-effects" of demonetization on the economy.
West Bengal Mamata Banerjee decided to start early. On Monday morning she tweeted "#Noteban is a disaster. On #Nov8BlackDay to protest against this scam that destroyed the economy, let us also change our Twitter DP to black."
Not only demonetization, she trained guns at GST also. On the heels of the demonetization tweet came another tweet.
From her official handle @MamataOfficial Banerjee tweeted "Great Selfish Tax (GST) to harass the people. To take away jobs. To hurt businesses. To finish the economy. GoI totally failed to tackle #GST"
Banerjee is known as the strongest antagonist of the Modi Government's economic policies namely demonetization and the GST. She has been leading protests against both the policies.
