'Agar Seema Haider Wapas Nahi Ayi, Toh Bharat Ka Nash Hoga': Man Threatens 26/11-Like Attack

An unidentified person on Wednesday threatened the Mumbai Police that an attack like 26/11 will be carried out against India if Pakistani woman Seema Haider fails to return to her country, ANI reported.

"Mumbai police control room received a threat call yesterday in which the caller threatened the police to prepare for a 26/11 terrorist attack if Pakistani national Seema Haider does not return to Pakistan," the Mumbai Police said in a statement.

The caller, according to a report in India Today, said, "Agar Seema Haider wapas nahi ayi, toh Bharat ka nash hoga (If Seema Haider doesn't return, India will face destruction)."

The person threatened that India should be prepared for an attack like 26/11 and the Uttar Pradesh government is responsible for it.

The Mumbai Police and Crime Branch are probing the incident.

Who Is Seema Haider?

Pakistani woman Seema Haidar fell in love with Indian man Sachin Meena through PUBG during the Covid-19 pandemic. They then decided to tie the knot and married in Nepal in March, this year.

After the wedding, she left for Pakistan and Sachin came back to India. She then sold her plot to Pakistan rupees Rs 12 lakh to arrange flight tickets and a Nepal visa for her along with her four children. She landed in Nepal via Dubai and stayed in Pokhara. She then reached Delhi from Kathmandu and reached Noida on May 13, the report claims. By then, Sachin had made arrangements for her accommodation.

More than one-and-a-half-month later, local police got a whiff of a Pakistani woman and her children's illegal presence in their area. Seema was arrested on July 4 for illegally entering into India without a visa via Nepal with her four children, all aged below seven years, while Sachin was put behind bars for sheltering the illegal immigrants.

However, she has embraced Hinduism and wants to settle in India.
