After SpiceJet, AirAsia, IndiGo offers cheap fares starting at Rs 1,499

New Delhi, Feb 6: A day after SpiceJet and AirAsia announced irresistible cheap fares, the budget passenger carrier IndiGo on Thursday too joined the fare war by slashing its fares as low as Rs 1,499 (all-inclusive).

According to IndiGo website, the promotional offer is available on selected routes such as Delhi-Jaipur and is valid on bookings made 90 days (three months) before travel date.

IndiGo, one of the fastest growing airline in India, has 564 daily flights to 37 destinations and a fleet of 88 aircrafts.

Last year, IndiGo had joined the race of fare war, whenever its main rival SpiceJet slashed its prices.

On Wednesday, Feb 4, Budget carrier SpiceJet had joined the low fare race in the domestic market putting on the block half a million seats with ticket prices starting at Rs 1,499 under a limited period promotional offer.

The bookings under the three-day "Super Sale" offer can be made from today for a travel period between February 15 to June 30, SpiceJet said in a release.

Meanwhile, the budget carrier AirAsia India too extended its promotional offer starting at as low as Rs 699 fares on all advance bookings.

The low fare offer is applicable till February 8, 2015 for the travel duration starting from August 3, 2015 to March 26, 2016, according to the airline's website.
