After Rajasthan, Haryana too bans Padmaavat
The Censor Board may have cleared Sanjay Leela Bhansali's magnum opus Padmaavat with a few changes, but the storm surrounding the movie refuses to die down. On, Tuesday Haryana became the forth BJP-ruled state to ban "Padmaavat" -- the renamed version of Padmavati.

The ban was announced by Haryana Minister Anil Vij a day after Chief Minister ML Khattar said they will take a call on the movie after watching it. It is not yet known when the private screening was held.
BJP ruled states Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Gujarat have banned the film. citing law and order to do so.
Rajasthan, where the protests against Padmavati were the loudest, has already shut its doors to the movie despite multiple edits, a change of name and clearance by some former royals of Rajasthan. Gujarat too has banned the film, citing law and order.
After protests by members of the Rajput community, Padmaavat was cleared by the Censor Board with five minor modifications on December 30.
The film's title Padmavati was changed to Padmaavat and a U/A certificate was granted. The makers finally decided to release the Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor starrer film on January 25.
