After Moga incident, another woman molested aboard bus in Punjab

Chandigarh, May 4: While the Punjab government is still coming to terms with two cases of sexual assault against women, another case of a woman being molested on a bus has been reported from the state.

The latest incident occured on Sunday in Khanna when the woman was allegedly molested on a private bus.

An FIR has been registered and the driver and the conductor of the bus have been arrested. One person is absconding and the police have launched a search to nab the third person.

Last week a girl had died of injuries after she was molested on a bus in Moga and was later thrown off the bus. The family of the victim initially refused to bury her but later on agreed to cremate her.

Meanwhile, the Punjab and Haryana High Court will hear the case of molestation and death of the 13-year old girl who was molested in Moga.
