Not that there are reasons to doubt his popularity, but BJP chief Amit Shah has now officially crossed the one-crore mark on Facebook and became the second Indian politician after Prime Minister Narendra Modi to have attained this unique feat.
On Tuesday, Shah had 1 crore and 20,000 followers and while Modi has over than 4 crore and 25 lakh followers on Facebook. Shah also enjoys huge following in Twitter. Here, is followed by approximately 58 lakh and 90,000 users.

Delighted by the development, the BJP chief thanked his followers on Facebook for the love and support. The tech-savvy BJP members were quick to congratulate its dynamic chief for such a mass following.
