After Maharashtra thrashing, Congress now hoping for better results in MCD polls
Delhi Pradesh Congress president Ajay Maken said they do not make false promises to people.
After a disastrous performance in Maharashtra civic body polls, the Congress is now hoping to do well in Delhi's MCD elections, expected to be held in April.
Delhi Pradesh Congress president Ajay Maken told ANI that they do not make false promises to people. Maken said the Congress would soon come up with a plan to beat the AAP and the BJP in the national capital. The Congress is holding a conference of Delhi leaders on March 6, ahead of the MCD elections.

The Congress faced yet another humiliating defeat in the civic elections in Maharashtra. The party put up a dismal performance in all five local bodies. The BJP won 470 seats, the Shiv Sena, 215, the Congress 99, the MNS, 16 and others won 61 in all the five local bodies put together.
In Mumbai, the Shiv Sena won 84 seats, while the BJP bagged 81. The Congress put up a disastrous show winning just 31 seats.
