SP Leader Naseem Solanki to Visit Temples and Churches Following Bypoll Victory in Sishamau

In the recent Sishamau Assembly bypoll, Naseem Solanki of the Samajwadi Party emerged victorious. She plans to visit various places of worship to show gratitude to her supporters. Meanwhile, Suresh Awasthi from the BJP attributed his defeat to a split in Hindu votes. Ramveer Singh, another BJP candidate, expressed gratitude to Muslim voters in Kundarki for his significant win.

Naseem Solanki Plans Religious Visits Post Bypoll Win

Naseem Solanki was chosen to contest from Sishamau after her husband, Irfan Solanki, was disqualified due to legal issues. Irfan faced imprisonment for arson charges. Despite challenges during the bypolls, Naseem praised voters for their resilience and thanked party leader Akhilesh Yadav for her candidacy. She emphasised her willingness to visit temples, churches, and gurdwaras to maintain supporter happiness.

Impact of Vote Division and Community Support

Suresh Awasthi lost by 8,654 votes and blamed the division of Hindu votes for his loss. He refrained from commenting on the "katoge to batoge" slogan's impact but noted that caste dynamics and other parties' strategies needed analysis. In contrast, Ramveer Singh celebrated a 1.45 lakh vote margin in Kundarki, crediting support from Muslim community members who have trusted him across generations.

Singh highlighted that his victory was due to honesty and dedication towards his supporters. He believed that voters chose him over the Samajwadi Party because of their dissatisfaction with them and their preference for development policies promoted by PM Narendra Modi and CM Yogi Adityanath.

Other Key Wins and Allegations

In Karhal, Tej Pratap Yadav of the SP defeated BJP's Anujesh Pratap Singh. Yadav alleged voter harassment during the election process and vowed to address any shortcomings in future elections. Mithilesh Pal from RLD, allied with BJP, won in Meerapur and credited CM Adityanath's influence for the alliance's success.

Surender Diler of BJP dismissed allegations of irregularities in Khair SC seat elections. In Ghaziabad, Sanjeev Sharma promised extensive development work within his two-year tenure as MLA. He aims to focus on building infrastructure like the Dudheshwarath temple corridor and improving healthcare and education facilities.

BJP's Continued Success Across Constituencies

Dharmraj Nishad secured a victory for BJP in Katehari after three decades. He expressed gratitude towards party workers and constituents for supporting his candidacy. Deepak Patel from Phulpur credited his win to the party cadre's efforts and focused on development issues during his campaign.

Suchismita Maurya from Majhawan attributed her success to BJP's inclusive policies, stating that the party does not engage in appeasement politics. This approach resonated well with voters, leading to her victory.

The recent bypoll results reflect varied political dynamics across constituencies. Candidates attributed their successes or failures to factors like community support, vote division, and development agendas. These outcomes highlight ongoing political shifts and voter preferences in different regions.
