Advocate shot at outside a court

Sultanpur, Jun 5: A 45-year-old advocate was allegedly shot at by three motorcycle-borne youths just outside a court here, this morning, police said.

Abdul Hafiz, a witness in a murder case, suffered serious injuries in his stomach after being shot at by the assailants, who later the spot as people rushed in after hearing gunshots, they said. The victim was rushed to a district hospital from where he was referred to a trauma centre in Lucknow, police said, adding one of the assailants has been arrested.
