The State Level Recruitment Commission (SLRC) is preparing to conduct the Assam Direct Recruitment Examination (ADRE) for Grade 3 positions. The exam for Class 12 or HSSLC-level posts will be held in the first phase, with the admit card for this exam now available. Here's what you need to know:

Exam Dates And Schedule
1. HSSLC-Level Posts: The examination will take place on September 15 in a single shift from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM.
2. Graduate-Level Posts: The exam for these positions is tentatively scheduled for September 29.
Syllabus and Pattern
1. For Graduate-Level Posts:
Social Studies: 30 questions, 1 mark each
General Knowledge: 35 questions, 1 mark each
Logical Reasoning and Mental Ability: 20 questions, 1 mark each
General Mathematics: 30 questions, 1 mark each
General English: 10 questions, 1 mark each
Reading Comprehension and English Language: 25 questions, 2 marks each
Duration: 3 hours
Total Questions: 150
Total Marks: 175
2. For HSSLC-Level Posts:
Social Studies: 30 questions, 1 mark each
General Knowledge: 30 questions, 1 mark each

Instructions For Candidates
1. The exam will consist of multiple-choice questions (MCQs) with only one correct answer per question. Candidates must select one option.
2. The number of questions in each subject/topic may vary slightly, but the total will remain 150.
3. There will be negative marking: 0.25 marks deducted for each wrong answer to 1-mark questions, and 0.50 marks for each wrong answer to 2-mark questions.
4. Only one answer per question is allowed. Selecting multiple options will result in a wrong answer and a negative mark.
5. Question papers will be available in Assamese, Bengali, English, Godo, and Hindi.
