'Adipurush' 1st Day Box Office Collection: Here's How Much It Is Predicted To Collect On Opening Day

Prabhas and Kriti Sanon's much-hyped 'Adipurush' has taken a solid opening at the India box office. The film was released in multiple languages across the globe on Friday in over 6000 screens.

The Om Raut directorial flick had met with a splendid response for the advance booking of tickets. Although the teaser and trailer had not met with great response, it did not stop the hardcore fans of Prabhas to throng into theatres.

As a result, the movie has registered a solid opening at the box office. The early estimation coming from the trade trackers claims that the movie will mint over Rs 100 crore on the opening day.

In India lone, the movie is predicted to earn over Rs 35 crore (nett) on the first day. However, the final number might vary. Nonetheless, it is set to become the second biggest opener in India after Shah Rukh Khan's 'Pathaan', which reportedly minted Rs 57 crore at the domestic box office on day one in January.

In its home territory of Andhra and Telangana, the movie is predicted to gross over Rs 60 crore with the Nizam region alone contributing over Rs 17 crore.

Responding to a great opening, Shashi of Mythri Movie Distributors said: "It has been 6 months since we have set up Mythri Movie Distributors LLP in Vizag. We strongly believe that Lord Rama chose Mythri Movie Distributors to distribute Adi Purush. We feel that Rama has given us a great opportunity to bring such a great movie in front of everyone. My friend Naveen also saw this movie in the US and said that the movie is very good. This movie is definitely going to be one of the top three movies in Nizam. So many messages and calls are coming from everywhere.

They are saying that this movie will be a super hit. Families are also coming to the theatres. It is said that 30% families and ladies are coming to the movie. Usually family audiences come from Sunday. But they are coming on the first day for this film. It is the greatness of Ramayana. More importantly, the theatres are house full in every corner. In terms of multiplexes in Nizam, this is the movie that got screened in more than 1000 screens. This has never happened to any movie before.
