Adani Group To Give Free Education To Kids Who Lost Parents In Odisha Train Accident
Industrialist Gautam Adani on Sunday announced that the Adani Group will take the responsibility of school education of children who have lost their parents in the recent Odisha train tragedy.
"We have decided that the Adani group will take the responsibility of the school education of those children who have lost their parents in this accident," Adani Group chairman Gautam Adani wrote on his Twitter.

The billionaire said he is deeply distressed by the news of the Odisha train accident. "It is the joint responsibility of all of us to provide strength to the victims and their families and better tomorrow to the children," he further wrote.
The crash involving Bengaluru-Howrah Superfast Express and Shalimar-Chennai Central Coromandel Express and a goods train occurred around 7 PM on Friday near the Bahanaga Bazar station in Balasore, about 250 km south of Kolkata and 170 km north of Bhubaneswar. As many as 17 coaches of these two passenger trains were derailed and severely damaged in the deadly accident.
The restoration work is underway at the site for the regular movement of trains on the route.
As per the revised death toll, 275 people have lost their lives in the incident while over 1,000 people have been injured.
The railways on Sunday virtually ruled out driver error and system malfunction, indicating a possible "sabotage" and tampering of the electronic interlocking system behind the triple train accident that claimed at least 288 lives in Odisha, according to a PTI report.
Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw said the "root cause" of the accident and the "criminals" responsible for it have been identified.
"It happened due to a change made in the electronic interlocking and point machine," he told reporters at the site of the accident in Balasore district.
