The Adani Group has announced 24 fully funded scholarships for students from India's premier business schools to join the 2025–27 Adani Accelerated Leadership Programme (AALP). The initiative supports merit and need-based selection, combining mentorship, industry immersion, and access to leadership opportunities to strengthen national development.

The selected scholars come from leading institutions including the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore, Indian Institute of Management Calcutta, Indian Institute of Management Lucknow and the Indian School of Business. The scholars were felicitated at the group’s headquarters in Ahmedabad by Karan Adani, Managing Director of Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone and Director at Adani Cement.

The AALP scholarship aims to ensure that high-potential management students are not held back by financial constraints. Candidates are selected through a rigorous merit- and need-based evaluation framework that prioritises academic excellence alongside demonstrated financial need.

Addressing the scholars and their families, Karan Adani said the initiative is rooted in the group’s belief that talent is widespread but opportunities are not evenly distributed. He noted that the selected students had earned their place through national-level competition and merit, and the programme seeks to match their ambition with access, exposure and mentorship.

The 2025–27 cohort reflects the diversity of India’s emerging leadership pool. Among the recipients is Anand Babu Kamineni, a first-year MBA student at IIM Calcutta, who ranked in the top 0.1 percent in national competitive examinations including JEE, CAT and UPSC. Hailing from a small village in Andhra Pradesh, his journey highlights the role of opportunity in amplifying talent.

Another scholar, Ayush Srivastava from IIM Lucknow, brings experience in training more than 500 engineers in complex oil and gas systems and leading technology upgrades across European offshore operations, demonstrating the blend of technical expertise and managerial capability required in today’s global economy.

The cohort also includes Madhu Gupta of IIM Calcutta, known for leading large operational teams with a focus on safety and execution excellence, and Kanav Bansal, whose early career work on high-impact systems delivered measurable financial outcomes.

Beyond financial assistance, the AALP programme offers structured industry immersion, mentorship and exposure to large-scale infrastructure and enterprise platforms, linking classroom learning with real-world operational experience. As India accelerates its growth ambitions, the group said deeper collaboration between academia and industry will be essential to building future leadership capacity. Through AALP, the Adani Group aims to create a pipeline of leaders grounded in excellence, access and responsibility.

Headquartered in Ahmedabad, the Adani Group operates across energy and utilities, transport and logistics, metals and materials, and consumer sectors. The conglomerate says its growth strategy is guided by the principles of nation building, sustainability and community development.
