Adani Family Chooses Tradition Over Glitz for Jeet Adani's Wedding Day
At a time when lavish weddings often make headlines, Jeet Adani, the son of industrialist and Adani Group Chairperson Gautam Adani, is redefining the narrative. Instead of a star-studded spectacle, Jeet and his fiancée, Diva Jaimin Shah, have chosen a wedding that embraces simplicity, tradition, and a deeper purpose. Taking place today in Ahmedabad, their intimate ceremony reflects their family values, cultural heritage, and commitment to meaningful causes-proving that true grandeur lies in purpose, not excess.
A Ceremony Rooted in Tradition

Jeet and Diva, who got engaged on March 14, 2023, in a private ceremony, have kept their wedding plans intimate. The pre-wedding festivities began on February 5, leading up to today's celebration at Shantigram, the Adani township in Ahmedabad. Following Jain and Gujarati customs, the wedding reflects the couple's deep-rooted cultural heritage.
A Clear Stand Against Extravagance
Gautam Adani has been vocal about his preference for a "simple and traditional" wedding, quashing speculation of an extravagant event featuring high-profile guests. He emphasized that his family's values are grounded in modesty, saying, "My upbringing and our way of doing things are that of a common person from the working class."

A Wedding with a Social Purpose
Beyond personal joy, the couple is using their wedding as a platform to support meaningful causes. They have partnered with the NGO Family of Disabled (FOD) to provide specially designed shawls by renowned designer Manish Malhotra for their wedding.
Jeet and Diva have pledged to donate ₹10 lakh each annually to support the weddings of 500 women with disabilities. To kick-start this initiative, Jeet recently met with 21 newlywed Divyang women, reinforcing the couple's commitment to social change.
About Jeet Adani and Diva Jaimin Shah
Jeet Adani, a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania's School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, currently serves as the Director at Adani Airports. Since joining the family business in 2019, he has taken on key roles in its expansion. His philanthropic vision is influenced by his mother, Priti Adani, who has made a significant impact through the Adani Foundation.
Diva Jaimin Shah, the daughter of diamond merchant Jaimin Shah, hails from a well-established business family. Her father is the co-owner of C. Dinesh and Co., a prominent diamond manufacturing firm operating in Mumbai and Surat.
