Actress Sana Khan, boyfriend held molesting, intimidating woman

Mumbai, Oct 29: Bollywood actress Sana Khan and her boyfriend Ismail Khan were on Wednesday arrested after a woman charged them with molestation and criminal intimidation, police said today.

"Actress Sana Khan and her boyfriend Ismail Khan were arrested under IPC sections 354 (assault or criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty) and 506 (punishment for criminal intimidation) following a complaint by a woman, named Poonam Khanna," said Amboli police station's senior inspector Ramesh Khadtare.

The 'Jai Ho' actress Sana and her boyfriend Ismail Khan had on October 21 allegedly twisted the hands of the victim, touched her inappropriately and threatened her over an article which appeared in a newspaper last week.

The duo suspected that Khanna had leaked an information to the media because of which the article, which was against the two, had been published in the newspaper.

The incident had occurred in the accused's vehicle outside a hospital in suburban Andheri.
