Shocking: Actress Anushka Sharma spells Abdul Kalam's name 'wrongly', faces Twitterati's ire

New Delhi, July 28: It's proven fact that one can't get away easily for their gaffe on the social media. Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma on Tuesday stocked fresh spell of controversy when she made a wrong tweet on Kalam's demise.

While writing a tributary message for former President Abdul Kalam, she mentioned name of 'ABJ Kalam Azad' instead. She tweeted, "Very sad to hear about the passing of ABJ Kalam Azad. Loss of an inspiring visionary and a wonderful soul. May his soul RIP."

It seems she had no idea who was Abdul Kalam Azad, a freedom fighter died years ago.

Facing flak, reportedly she corrected it later and made a fresh tweet. Shockingly that tweet too was found to be incorrect. In third attempt, she wrote RIP message correctly, saying, " Very sad to hear about the passing of APJ Abdul Kalam . Loss of an inspiring visionary and a wonderful soul .May his soul RIP".
