Actor Mohan Bhandari passes away
Mumbai, Sept 25: Renowned TV actor Mohan Bhandari, who was long struggling with brain tumor, passed away yesterday evening after a brain hemorrhage.
Father of actor Dhruv Bhandari, he appeared several soaps in the 80s, which included Khaandaan on DD, Karz, Parampara, Jeevan Mrityu, Pathjhad, Gumraah and Mile Sur Mera Tumhara.
He was also seen in the Aamir Khan-starrer Bollywood blockbuster Mangal Pandey-the Rising. His son Dhruv is also a famous actor of Tere Shehar Mein fame.
He had told the media a few months ago about the condition of his father. Mohan Bhandari had seen many turmoils in his life. Being one of the busiest TV actors in the industry 80s, he had a sudden downfall in his career after that till 1994 till he landed a job in another popular TV serial Saat Phere, playing a senior role.
